For each of the photos taken for this assignment the object was to encapsulate the essence of Frankie magazine with its playful and youthfulness in editorial photo. The concept was to add a vintage touch to the photos and it still be in the realm of the Frankie magazine aesthetic. These enchanting pictures are a small collection that are destined to add a new life to Frankie magazine.

In creating the editorial piece for frankie magazine, the final photos, I wanted to achieve a soft feminine look. Similar to Petra Collins, a popular photographer who is known for her stylistic tone that explores femininity, identity and adolescence. Collins also uses pastel colours, soft focus, and no retouching in a lot of her work. Her photos frequently include coming-of-age shots that highlight adolescent girlhood or young ladies. Which is what I wanted to achieve in these editorial images. Capturing a soft and romantic look that speaks with elegance and class is the main goal when designing a soft feminine fashion magazine photograph.
